i wont buy a solid from them but the hollows are a different story now. I always said i wouldnt buy another Epi - well, never say never. but this guitar is so good out the box for tone, im amazed. The P90s? excellent as far as im concerned, i have no issues, they tick the boxes.Ĭaps will be changed - of course. Quality: The tuners are just rubbish, a definate mod asap.

its got such character, it lives! ok the neck is standard Epi again, not great, but for tone and enjoyment, she was the one. Whilst the Dot had a smoother tone, just very very nice, but the neck was standard Epi fair - however it was mahogany and smoothed the tone just nicely. I found the Sheraton to be well made and a very good neck and board, comfortable, but i found the maple neck too bright. for the money im not too bothered about a bit of untidy finishing here and there, i bought this for the tone. Ok, its not the best made axe on the planet, we know that, but with some love she will be a real player.

(I have to think that the quality of the casino is in part due to that fact they are 'handmade' in China.which brings up a question if one should buy one at all.of course how can you not buy things fron china) I did at one point hold up both guitars and strumed them acoustically.the casino was more balanced where as the 335 had resonce peak. I was very suprised that I liked it so muc given that I really dislike both the pass and the sheriton. So, my first imperssion.is that the 335 has a more complex tone that is not as smooth.but, the casino is more balanced and not as harmonically rich.I have to think to a large part this has to do with th PU and electronics.Īlso, the 335 does play a bit nicer but the casino in no way is bad. I have not sat down and played them at the same time but, I have been playing a 335 a bit lately. I had a chance to play one (casino) and I was very impressed.as strange as it sounds I think it could be a better axe.with an electronic upgrade
